Draper is a city within the Salt Lake County, located 20 miles south of Salt Lake City along the Wasatch Front. It has a population of 48,000. Draper’s total area is 29.96 sq mi with just 0.01 sq mi of water. It was originally named Draperville, after the first presiding elder of the small Mormon congregation in town, William Draper III.

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium
One of Utah’s unique and popular attractions is Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. It houses more than 4000 displays of marine life around the world which include penguins, stingrays and seahorses. The facility is located on Lone Peak Parkway and sits on a 136,000 feet of land. One of the
main attractions here is a large shark habitat with a 40-foot walk-through tunnel. Equally stunning is the Gentoo Penguin Research Station, where guests can watch 20 penguins play around the station. Loveland Living Planet Aquarium not only has marine life displays, they also have an Expedition: Asia hall where their sloths and leopards are located.
